these boots are the best, the leather, the look, just about everything is perfect with the minor exception, they do run 1/2 size small….i normally can wear a 61/2 but the 7′s were perfect and they will also stretch out in the width if you tend to have a wider foot like myself…i love this boot, you cant really go wrong with it…

Amazon shipment speed is excellent. I searched for a while for a pair of boots that I really liked and these fit the bill (low heel/square toe). The price was lower than comparable retailers online, so I purchased the boots. I wear a 10 in athletic shoes, but consistently wear a 1/2 size smaller in pull-on style boots and these were no exception. I ordered a 9 1/2D and the fit was perfect right out of the box. The boots are very comfortable and do not require any real ‘break-in’ period in order to feel that way. They are well made with leather soles and leather lining. The leather sole (a.k.a. DualPro from Ariat) has rubber injected in order to increase traction and it works well. Excellent boot, would recommend to anyone.

This is my second pair of Dan Post boots. I wanted a brown pair, and just loved the colorful cutouts on this boot. They are perfect with jeans or skirts, and I love the fit (I normally wear a size 8, but my feet are very narrow at the heel, so I found that a 7 1/2 fit me perfectly in this boot). They were comfortable from the very first step. Perfect!

I was so excited to get these shoes in the mail and they looked so beautiful on! But then after an hour of wearing them, the heel completely broke off! I wasn’t even doing anything crazy. I was standing and the heel totally crumbled under me. I love the look of the shoe so much and thought about exchanging them for another pair; however, if this problem happens on another shoe, I could seriously injure myself if the heel comes off while I am walking or going down/up stairs. I decided to cut my loses and send these beauties back. If you do decide to go with them, size up half a size as they are quite snug and don’t have any means to get them on and off besides shoving your foot in (they have elastic sides instead of zippers).
